Background: The quickest way for your body to motivate you to address your spiritual issues in this "looks conscious" society is to layer itself with unwanted fat.

Trust me when I say that your body does not want to be fat. It does not want to be fat simply for all the extra health problems that excess fat causes your body. Yet, there are "tons" of people who are overweight. Look around the next time you are in a gathering of new age people. You may notice that a higher percent of these people are overweight than the general population.

Goal: Assuming that you are in the right relationship to food (if not, click here) and that you have more weight than you would like, it is likely that you have a metaphysical problem with weight rather than a medical one.

If so, this exercise should help you to remove the underlying patterns in your consciousness (which are the true extra baggage you have) that are causing your body to carry the excess weight that you want to (but cannot) remove.

This will help you to understand why your unconscious mind has worked so hard to layer your body with excess fat. The terrible truth is that if you do not get your unconscious mind on the program, then you have no chance of losing the weight. That is why there is a multi-billion dollar weight loss industry battling a "problem" that never seems to get solved no matter how much money is thrown at it.


1> Do this exercise at night after you have taken a bath but before you have gone to bed. It is best you do it when you will be able to sleep the next day (do it Friday night if you can rest on the weekend).

2> When this exercise is complete, drink a full glass of water and then immediately cleanse yourself. Good cleansing will vary depending on if you are an:

"Air" person, sweating in a sauna or steam room is good cleansing. [MORE]
"Earth" person, taking a mud bath is good cleansing. [MORE]
"Fire" person, sitting surrounded by lit candles is good cleansing. [MORE]
"Water" person, taking a long shower is good cleansing. [MORE]

3> Being comfortable is the key. You can lie down (recommended) or sit up. If you opt to sit up, you must be supported and feel fully relaxed and comfortable.

4> Do this exercise in a quiet place where you will be completely undisturbed for the entire session. This entire exercise should last NO longer than 30 minutes. Set an alarm or timer to snap you out of it should the session run longer.

5> Be patient with yourself for a week or so. Shedding your "excess metaphysical baggage" can be quite disorienting until the changes are fully integrated. It is VERY powerful and it takes time for the work that you have done on the inner bodies to be reflected in your outer body ("as above, so below"). If you are doing this process to effect a change, then you should be fully prepared to expect a change. You know the old saying: "Be careful what you wish for, you might get it!"

How to Do This Exercise:

1> Take some deep, refreshing breaths until you are totally comfortable and relaxed in whatever position you have chosen (it should take you no more than 3 minutes to get comfortable).

2> Close your eyes and envision a large mirror in the screen of your mind. Imagine yourself walking toward the "Mirror of Total Interior Knowledge". You are completely alone: all you see is yourself and the magic mirror.

3> Look into the mirror and see yourself the way you would like to be. This is the you inside yourself who has already attained your ideal weight (your "ideal weight person"). Example: I see myself slim in a Starfleet uniform.

4> Ask this "ideal weight person" the question "What is keeping me from becoming you?" The answer this person will give you will determine the next question to be asked. Just let the dialog flow.

5> When you have received your answers, open your eyes and quickly jot them down upon a piece of paper. You do not have to record the dialog word for word - just capture the key ideas on a single sheet of paper. Do NOT write for more than 5 minutes - keep it simple and focused on the key issues.

6> Once you are done, burn that paper - which contains all your excess baggage - until it is completely consumed. For best results, use a flame or a white candle (do not use scented or colored candles).

7> While it is burning, you will need to say words to the effect of "I release these old beliefs back to the universe with love. They no longer serve me. I am ready to accept a body at a healthy, slender weight. It is safe to be the best me I can be. I release and banish all unwanted fat from my body forever."

8> Now that you have removed the chains to your fat, you must replace them with positive images. Say to yourself constantly "I deserve a healthy, slender body." Or use other weight loss affirmations that you are more comfortable with - as long as the goal of having a healthy, trim body is what you are affirming to yourself. At the same time, envision yourself as being your ideal image (like "Starfleet" slim).

9> Repeat this exercise until your inner person has no more reasons why being fat serves you. Repeat your weight loss affirmations 30 times a day for 60 days.

a> This exercise combined with a wholesome diet, 8 glasses of water a day, and 30 minutes of continuous but unstressful walking should get your body to where you want it to be. See also "Getting into the Right Relationship with Food" and get lots of the super foods!

b> Remember the importance of water to your overall general health and it's critical importance to weight loss. If you have truly released the unconscious patterns that were keeping the fat on your body, you will lose weight (click here for the most common ones).

Example: How this works is best illustrated by a sample dialog that shows you what you can expect from delving deeper into yourself and, in essence, going underneath what is causing the extra layers of fat.

When asked why you are still fat, your ideal inner person is likely to tell you that "Your fat is serving you very well right now. It is keeping you very safe and protected. Are you truly ready to let it go?"

Be honest with yourself and give this person an answer. If you really and truly want to lose weight, then say "Yes. I am ready to release and dissolve all the unwanted fat from my body wherever it appears."

Your inner person may say "You know the rules: if you truly want to get rid of the excess weight, then you will have to address the spiritual cause which created it to start with. Are you really ready to do this?"

At this point, you should really put some thought into this answer. Sometimes the reason why you are holding onto the fat can be extremely painful. Many times, the answers lie buried in past lives that have caused unconscious patterns of fat to be activated in this lifetime (click here for the most common patterns).

"Yes" you say. Then your inner person will give you the answer. They will say that "Being fat serves you because..." Listen to what is being said. Do not censor it. Do not judge it. Do not argue with it. Be still, listen. The answers will sometimes astound you with their truthfulness. I guarantee that although the answer will be a surprise, probably you will not be surprised as to where it came from.

Your inner person will give you as little as 3 or as many as 7 answers. Sometimes the problem is so deeply ingrained that you must do this exercise a few times before all of the chains binding you to your fat are completely severed. It's an inexpensive treatment but worth it - I think you will agree.
