FAQ: How did you become a Higher Self Channeler?

The expression "live by the sword, die by the sword" is truer than anyone could imagine. I brought so many wounds from past military lives into this one that I had no choice but to resolve them (see "My Healing").

In the painful process of healing my body from these past lifetimes, I began to spontaneously channel past lives for myself and others.

At first, I was very skeptical that I was actually doing this. But the channel kept accurately hitting on truths about others that I, as Ellen, normal human being, had no way of knowing.

Often, these were very private truths that my clients had shared with no one else (see the "Case Histories" for more details).

Seeing the truly wondrous healings that flowed from the resolution of these situations (along with the encouragement of kind friends) convinced me to pursue this work further.

Since Higher Selves are the ones who drive the sessions, channeling them became a natural outgrowth of doing past life work. When any individual reaches a certain level of spiritual advancement, they will automatically be able to "see", "hear", or "know" their own Higher Selves (see "Spirit Based Guidance" for more).
