Quotes #9: Souls on Fire to Live Free or Die: Famous Quotes on Freedom

Live Free or DIE!

Freedom is a lot like air. When it is around, you hardly notice it. Once taken from you, you notice it instantly. Not long afterwards you choke and later you die.

The right to "boldly go where no one has gone before" is the main reason that I am proud to live in the United States of America, "the land of the free and the home of the brave." Not surprisingly, the best quotes come from women who know all too well about the lack of freedom.
