GOOD KARMA HEALTH TIP:
"Out of the Mouth of Babes: Xenoglossy"

Xenoglossy... Chances are you have not heard of it. Keeping it out of public awareness is perhaps the one thing that science and religion can safely agree upon these days. Why? Because the phenomenon of Xenoglossy is perhaps the most interesting and compelling of all the reincarnation phenomenon. Ironically, advances in science and in religious studies are what makes it both interesting and compelling.

The official definition of Xenoglossy is a person's ability to speak or write in a foreign language they never learned. Although this may seem harmless, the problem for both religion and science is that neither can offer explanations for incidents of Xenoglossy that are as simple and straightforward as those reincarnation can provide.

Take this example from Joel Fisher's "The Case for Reincarnation": "Dr Morris Netherton reports one case of a blond, blue-eyed eleven year old boy who under hypnosis was taped for eleven minutes as he spoke in an ancient Chinese dialect. When the tape was taken to a Professor of Oriental Studies at the University of California it turned out to be a recitation from a forbidden religion of Ancient China."

So how did this boy do it? Was he trained? If so, who could have given him this information, known only to a handful of scholars? Was it luck? If so, how could he be luckly for eleven minutes? OR it is more likely he was recalling what he learned in a past life?

Then take this example from Peter Ramster's "The Search for Lives Past": "Cynthia Henderson's... only contact with the French language had been a few months of basic instruction in high school. Yet under hypnosis she was able to carry on a long and detailed conversation in French with a native speaker who commented that she spoke without any English accent and in the manner of the eighteenth century."

So how did this woman do it? Was she trained? If so, where did she learn it in Australia where she lived? Was it luck? If so, how did she get rid of her English accent for the several hours of this conversation. Not only did she speak fluently, she correctly stated the locations of several buildings that did not then exist in France and were later verified as having existed in 18th century after much research. OR it is more likely she was recalling what she experienced in a past life?

Finally, take this example from author Lyall Watson: "about a ten year old child, an Igarot Indian living in the remote Cagayon Valley in the Philippines. The child had never had any contact with any language or culture other than his own. Yet under trance conditions the child communicated freely in Zulu, a language he could not have heard. Watson recognized it because he had spent his early life in Africa."

So how did this boy do it? Was he trained? If so, who in his remote village could have trained him? Was it luck? If so, how could someone just luckily speak in a language they had never heard? OR it is more likely he was recalling a language he learned in a past life?

Xenoglossy frequently comes "out of the mouths of babes" because in their formative years children are not quite detached from their old identities and not quite established in their new one. This allows reincarnation memories to easily come bubbling up to the surface. If people hear children speaking strangely, they tend to chalk it up to being gibberish... and yet it is not always that way.

When children's gibberish fits an existing language pattern like those in the cases presented above, there really is no good explanation for how they are doing it apart from reincarnation. The other scientific and religious explanations trying to fit it into the context of a single life are at best strained chains of coincidence and conspiracy.

If the memories can be admitted as coming from past lives, that is a very simple explanation. According to the scientific principle known as Ockham's Razor, which states that, among conflicting explanations, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. So when it comes to Xenoglossy, Reincarnation 1 and Science/Religion 0.

GOOD KARMA PROSPERITY TIP:
"It's All Inside: Spontaneous Talents"

Unsolved Mysteries ran a special program on "Unexplained Child Prodigies" which, quite unintentionally, gives an excellent summary on the emergence of spontaneous talents in children. In their words...

"The world has been introduced to children who possess mysterious powers and excel in the worlds of art and science. The incredible talents of such young geniuses have fascinated and puzzled scholars for centuries. What can explain the phenomenon of Child Prodigies?"

"Mozart began composing at the age of 5. Bobby Fischer competed with chess grandmasters when he was only 6. Jessica Constant may look like a typical teenager, but at 14, she's already a college student and plans to attend medical school. But Jessica's interests are not solely confined to academics. Jessica is also an accomplished cellist. Along with her two older brothers, she makes up 'The Constant Trio'. The three siblings have performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Remarkably, neither parent has any musical talent themselves and they are awed by the artistry of their children."

"Once in a great while, a child prodigy will be born with even a rarer type of genius, one which expresses itself in many areas at once. At age 12, Albert Wong is already an accomplished violinist, teaches himself a wide variety of subjects from college textbooks and is famous in the world of music as a concert pianist. Albert first displayed his mysterious musical talents when he was just 3 years old. Yet by the time he was five, he had already won the grand prize in a Dallas piano competition for children up to 18. Eventually, Albert came under the tutelage of renowned former prodigy Earl Wild. At age 10, Albert recorded his first CD."

"What mysterious set of circumstances contributes to a child having such extraordinary talents? According to David Henry Feldman, Professor of Child Development at Tufts University... no one knows whether the causes are genetic, evolutionary, cultural, historical, or a combination of all of those things. At this time, the exact cause remains a mystery" except to those who know the past life history.

All the remarkable children are "old Souls" who are simply picking up in their personal evolution now where they left off in past lives. There have always been child prodigies... with modern communication more of them are being reported and tracked than ever before. That the "exact cause" of their talents "remains a mystery" is a tribute to the forces of reincarnation skepticism (see "Featured Page") at work.

As Cicero said in antiquity, "It is a strong proof of men knowing most things before birth, that when mere children they grasp innumerable facts with such speed as to show that they are not then taking them in for the first time, but are remembering and recalling them." When could they have "remembered" them... but from past lives?

In modern times, J. G. Herder continues: "Have you never observed that children will sometimes, of a sudden, give utterance to ideas which makes us wonder how they got possession of them? Which presuppose a long series of other ideas and secret self-communings? Which break forth like a full stream out of the earth, an infallible sign that the stream was not produced in a moment from a few raindrops, but had long been flowing concealed beneath the ground?" When could they have been "long flowing"... except in past lives.

The past is always present... most forcibly in the talents, skills, and abilities that we carry over from past lives into the present one.

It is far easier to work off financial karma in the dream state than in real life! As always, the choice is yours.

GOOD KARMA RELATIONSHIP TIP:
"Baby, It's You: Love at First Sight"

Many people dream about looking across a crowded room, seeing the love of their life, meeting them, and never looking back. "Love at First Sight" is a well documented historical phenomenon.

Caesar and Cleopatra acted as man and wife from almost the first moment they met. Once Czar Nicholas met Alexandra, he - in an uncharacteristic act of stubbornness - refused to consider marrying anyone else. After Queen Victoria met Prince Albert, she became determined to marry him. The same with King Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine, King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, and the list goes on.

In case you are thinking "Love at First Sight" is just for royalty, think again. According to LoveatFirstSight.org (now offline), "fully, 64.1% of all people believe that love at first sight can happen! Of these believers, 58.2% have fallen in love with someone within sixty minutes of meeting them... Perhaps there is a willingness among 'believers' to have it happen... (yet) in the vast majority of cases, it was not a casual occurrence (for these believers). And some... flatly did not believe in love at first sight until it happened to them."

"For example, one lady from New England was forty years old, divorced, and the mother of four kids. She had previously discussed love at first sight with her friends, and stated flatly that it couldn’t happen, at least not to her. She had firmly made up her mind. But on the day of her grandmother’s funeral, she met a man and, within thirty minutes, she knew he was "the one." They only dated a few times before they were married. And they have had a great life together."

"The most striking finding is that love at first sight is most often a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This is at least partly due to the fact that the majority of people who experience love at first sight marry the person. And the vast majority of those getting married stay married. The result is that the person who experiences love at first sight is 'out of circulation' for the most part."

Although LoveatFirstSight.org attributes this to scientific principles grounded in the "reality" of the present life, 99 times out of 100, "Love at First Sight" has deep roots in past lives and universal agreements.

Imagine for a moment that in many past lives, you met, courted, married, and lived a lifetime full of love with your romantic partner. Imagine that in each life, your love grew deeper and stronger each time. Imagine that your heart knows deep inside who you really love now... based upon lifetimes of love in the past.

Given that, it should now seem logical you would "instantly" recognize them now. It should also make sense that you would "fast forward" through John ("Mars & Venus") Gray's Five Stages of Courtship: attraction, uncertainty, exclusivity, intimacy, and engagement.

Looking at these in the context of past lives, attraction then becomes recognition of your past life love in present life form. Uncertainty is instantly eliminated because you have already known your lover for so many past lives. Exclusivity is instantly assured because you and they have proved your committment over many past lives. Intimacy is instantly revived as you pick up in the present where you left off in the past. That is why "Love at First Sight" brings you and they so quickly to engagement... and why that is so frightening to those who look at the rapid march through what is normally a gradual process.

The gradual process really is for those who are "newly partnered" in terms of past lives together. They need to form the same bond that reincarnating lovers have already formed in past lives. That is why "the majority of people who experience love at first sight marry the person... (and) stay married." This is no accident but proof of a compassionate universe that works on the guiding principle of love.

FEATURED PAGE ON THE SITE:
"Reincarnation Skepticism: Don't Believe It"
http://www.healpastlives.com/future/rule/ruskeptc.htm

According to Tom Shroder (author of "Old Souls") Paul Edwards in his book "Reincarnation: A Critical Examination" tries "to make (Ian) Stevenson (author of "Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation") look absurd for even raising the possibility that he may have uncovered evidence for reincarnation..."

"Edwards says 'Stevenson will no doubt claim… (he has) much better cases now. They do not even begin to overthrow what I call the formidable initial presumption against reincarnation.' What Edwards is really saying was this: because something challenges the accepted understanding of the world, it obviously cannot be true, and therefore is unworthy of consideration. That is the position of dogma, not science." It is also evidence of "reincarnation skepticism at work".

This month's featured page answers the question posed by Ian Stevenson to journalist Tom Shroder. "Why?" after more than 40 years and 3,000 cases "suggestive of reincarnation", he asked "why is it that people cannot accept this evidence (of reincarnation)?"

The answer is because the process of reincarnation works to "hard wire" the "formidable initial presumption against reincarnation" deeply into the human consciousness. We are born forgetting the long trail of our past lives and with a resilient skepticism that keeps us from wanting to explore them. In people where the skepticism has an exceptionally powerful hold, it will prompt them to believe the most elaborate set of explanations that are "anything but reincarnation."

Tom Shroder ("Old Souls") described this "powerful force" best:

"It felt as though some force hovered above us, seeding these cases with just enough compelling evidence to make them impossible to dismiss but never quite enough for them to be proven beyond doubt. Still the logical gymnastics required to explain 'normally' any single case were enough to give pause. And going through those same gymnastics in case after case after case… Pretty soon, reincarnation began to seem like a less fantastic alternative."

"If I accepted even one of these cases as genuine, I had to accept many, if not most of them. If reincarnation were possible, even once, then it became a far simpler explanation for (what Shroder had seen on Stevenson's field trips) than was the strained chain of conspiracy and coincidence that I had to cook up to explain them all away. And I asked myself clearly… given all that I'd seen and heard, why couldn't I simply accept reincarnation as real? There was something stopping me, some factor that I could sense but not quite grasp."

That factor is the resilient, inborn, "hard wired" skepticism which creates "the formidable initial presumption against reincarnation".

Reincarnation is it's own worst enemy.

For reincarnation to work to set the stage for life after life of karmic lessons it, by necessity, it must work to obliterate any evidence of itself. Yet for the small percentage of the population who are ready for greater awareness at any given time, it must open the door to past life knowledge for their greater spiritual unfoldment.

Only where the door swings open a hair for specific individuals do the reality of past lives open themselves to examiners like Ian Stevenson. For why it has been shut and always will be shut, check out this month's featured page... the answers may just surprise you!

KARMA IN THE NEWS:
"Victor Zammit & The Case for the AfterLife"

"'A Lawyer Presents the Case for the Afterlife: Irrefutable Objective Evidence'" by Victor Zammit is a FREE downloadable eBook. Once you read it, you may never look at life in the same way again...

"Victor Zammit, B.A.(Psych), Grad. Dip. Ed., M.A.(Legal Hist.), LL.B, Ph.D, lawyer, Euro-Australian, is a retired Solicitor of the High Court of Australia." He "was initially suspicious of the New Age Movement for its blatant commercial exploitation of people’s basic instinctual tendency for spiritual development. However he did have a number of psychic/spiritual experiences which set him questioning, reading, and researching" into evidences of the Afterlife.

"Adopting a scientific criterion, Victor was able to select that information which could withstand and pass the many rigid tests of objectivity." His book, "'A Lawyer Presents the Case for the Afterlife: Irrefutable Objective Evidence'", has been accessed by more than 1.5 million people from 65 countries over the last 5 years."

In this book, Victor Zammit presents "twenty three different areas of evidence showing that the existence of the afterlife can be proved 'absolutely'". The evidence presented in this book "would be accepted by the highest court in ANY civilized country" not just in the highest courts of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

"The 'scientific' evidence for the afterlife is irrefutable - has never been shown it is wrong. The evidence mentioned and found in "A Lawyer Presents the Case for the Afterlife" has been sent to experts around the world to ask them what they find wrong with it - it has been sent to theologians, to scientists, to materialists and hard-core skeptics."

"Seven years later, no scientist - no biologist, no physicist, no skeptical empiricist, no materialist, no one has been able to rebut the evidence for the existence of the afterlife."

Best of all, Victor Zammit puts his money where his mouth is. His sponsors "are offering the sum of $1,000,000 for anyone in the world who could demonstrate the evidence for the afterlife as found in his research on the Net is not correct". This offer has been on the table for 3 years with no takers... the burden is now on the skeptics!

KARMA AT THE MOVIES:
"On a Clear Day You Can See Forever"

My first introduction into the world of reincarnation came from this classic movie musical, "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever", featuring the amazing talent and voice of Barbra Streisand.

When psychologist, Marc Chabot, gives a lecture on hypnotism, he discovers he has accidentally hypnotized one of his students, Daisy Gamble. In speaking with her later, he becomes convinced that he has found what he has been looking for: a genuine case of telepathy.

Since she wants to quit smoking, Daisy agrees to undergo a series of hypnosis sessions with Chabot. Yet he soon uncovers more than he bargains for when her past life as the temptress, Melinda TenTrees, in 18th century England emerges. Fascinated, Chabot tries to make sense out of the jumbled reincarnation memories pouring out of her.

As Daisy relives her "rags to riches" life as Melinda, Chabot starts falling in love with the elegant past life woman trapped in the common present life girl. Towards the end of their time together, Daisy predicts that she and he will reincarnate as lovers and will be married in the year 2038. Yet Melinda's life does not have a happy ending: she is executed for a crime she did not commit.

When the true character of Chabot's research is revealed, it causes an uproar at his university. His preoccupation with reincarnation does not sit well with his superiors (even though the a rich patron wants to learn more... so that he can leave all his current money to his future self!). Worse, Daisy has fallen in love with Chabot and is heart broken to learn that he only cares for the women she used to be.

Just when everything is falling apart for Chabot and he is ready to believe that Daisy's past life memories were all a fantasy, his researcher brings historical documentation of the life of Melinda TenTrees... that exactly matches Daisy's remembrances under hypnosis. Undeniable proof that her karmic memories were real.

This movie sums up WHY past lives reveal themselves. They come up when problems from the past threaten to derail the present. In Daisy's case, her past life death left her undervaluing herself in the present and ready to settle for a safe but loveless marriage. After she connected with her past life power (although unconsciously), Daisy no longer wanted to settle for safety but to become all she was and all she could be with someone new who could love her, gifts and all.

This movie also brilliantly depicts HOW past lives reveal themselves. At first, they come as powerful, out of sequence images much like a movie trailer. Then they settle down and unfold in a logical sequence so that the story makes sense. When the images end and the healing is completed, the past retreats and the present comes back to the fore.

This movies also portrays the essential truth of reincarnation. For those who have had a past life experience, no proof is necessary. For those who have not, none is sufficient. My personal thanks to Barbra for having the courage to make this movie which changed my life.

Inspirational Quote for the Month:

"We seem to have here (with reincarnation) one of those problems wherein people readily agree on what it would take to establish something they very much do not want to believe - and then when, contrary to anyone's expectations, the evidence actually emerges strongly supportive of the belief, they return (for no persuasive reason) to add more conditions to what it would take to establish what they very much do not want to accept. And they continue to do so until it is virtually impossible that any such evidence should ever emerge." (Robert Almeder, Department of Philosophy, GSU)

"'Even if telepathy were proved to be true,' an eminent biologist told William James, 'savants ought to band together to suppress and conceal it, because it would upset the uniformity without which scientists cannot carry on their pursuits.'" (Quoted from Brian Inglis)

Good Deed for the Month:
http://www.victorzammit.com

From the official biography on his site: "Victor Zammit, B.A.(Psych), Grad. Dip. Ed., M.A.(Legal Hist.), LL.B, Ph.D, lawyer, Euro-Australian, is a retired Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the New South Wales and the High Court of Australia."

"In 1979/80 Victor was a member of the United Nations Association Human Rights Committee (NSW Branch). Victor organised and chaired other highly successful public meetings at the internationally famous Wayside Chapel and the University of New South Wales for Australia’s charismatic leaders, including five former Prime Ministers and other Western & Eastern leaders in religion and politics."

"For over a decade, Victor volunteered his services as meetings co-ordinator, orator and chairperson at the Wayside Chapel. He worked closely with the spiritually radical, charismatic leader, the Rev. Ted Noffs and was influenced by his teaching of universal consciousness and tolerance of all religions and non religionists."

"He was attracted by the philosophy of the Wayside Chapel - 'I am a Catholic, a Protestant, a Jew, a Muslim, a Sikh, a Buddhist, a Hindu... I am part of all religions past, present and future, because I am a human being and nothing is alien to me...' Further, the emphasis at the Wayside was on social justice, in doing for the good of humanity and not in any religious beliefs."

You will find that his book, "A Lawyer Presents the Case for the Afterlife: Irrefutable Objective Evidence", is written in the same spirit: "in doing for the good of humanity". It just may change the way you think about your life now... and in the lives to come!
