Background on This Exercise
Background: In the universe, we are just as unique as every snowflake that has ever fallen since the beginning of time. We are all individual sparks of the Divine: all connected together and all separate from one another at the same time.
Each of us is able to "sing" a unique note in the universal "one song" (which is what "universe" means: uni=one and verse=song). We are happiest when we are performing our unique role in the universal "choir". We are unhappy when we are out of place (like an alto (low note) trying to sing a soprano (high note) part).
Goal: The purpose of this exercise is for you to discover the unique place that you hold in the universe. For the key to becoming happy is to find your true home. It is easy to get there, once you know where it is!
Preparation: To find your true place in the universe, here is what you must do first:
1> You must be honest with yourself and answer this question: "Do you really want to know what your place in the universe is?" Only clarity of intention built on a foundation of personal integrity is the key that will unlock the door to knowledge of your place in the universe.
2> Ask and you shall receive. You are a Divine spiritual being, a spark of God come to earth to have a human experience. Inside yourself, you have and know everything you need to. All you need to do is become who you already are.
3> Listen and be open to what you will learn. If your life on Earth is perfect, then there is nothing more for you to do. Enjoy and do not waste another moment fixing what is not broken. If your life on Earth is less than great, then be open to the help that is about to be given to you through this exercise.
4> Being comfortable is the key. You
can lie down (recommended) or sit up. If you opt to sit
up, you must be supported and feel fully relaxed and
5> Do this exercise in a quiet place where you will be completely undisturbed for the entire session. This should last NO longer than 15 minutes. Set an alarm or timer to alert you should the session run longer.
1> Take some deep, refreshing breaths until you are totally comfortable and relaxed and in whatever position you have chosen (it should take you no more than 3 minutes to get comfortable).
2> Close your eyes and envision a large mirror in the screen of your mind. Imagine yourself as you are in this lifetime walking toward the mirror. You are completely alone: all you see is yourself and the magic mirror.
3> Look into the mirror and ask to be shown your unique place in the universe. Ask that this image be as rich in sights and sounds as is needed to help you fully understand your purpose and mission in this life.
4> If you do not understand the significance of what you are seeing, then ask your Higher Self, your guides, your angels, and any other servants of the universe to show you more. Keep asking for more detail on the images you are being shown to you until you do understand what you are seeing.
Example: In the mirror, I saw two figures. One was the figure of a man dressed in a Roman military uniform: he was battle weary and carried a sword in his upraised hand. Behind the man standing to his side was a woman in Egyptian garments. Her right hand was on his shoulder and her left hand was holding a bouquet of flowers.
This image was significant to me because it helped me to understand why I had two distinct and conflicting aspects to my personality. I realized that the abilities, skills, and lessons I had learned from military or religious incarnations directly benefited me today, especially in my work. And it helped me to make a major change in my career which was much more personally and financially satisfying.
