FAQ: What is your belief system about Higher Selves?

Higher Self work directly touches on the nature and purpose of human existence relative to God and the universe... in other words, philosophy and/or religion.

So before I answer that question, I must state my views on this subject are directly influenced by the teachings of my religion, ECKANKAR (www.eckankar.org).

I believe that we are all Soul (instead being of our bodies or minds). I believe that we all are presently living in the worlds of karma and reincarnation.

As spiritual beings, we have come to the Earth plane primarily for the purpose of having a human experience. We can access the Soul plane to understand the spiritual causes behind the human experience that we have chosen.

The purpose of all experience - human and spiritual - in all lives - past, present, and future - is to refine our character so that we may become better co-workers with God. Experience is greatest, best, and only real teacher of truth.

In past lives, we have determined what did not work and what did. We learned what did not allow us to become more loving and what did. We discovered what did not serve the development of our character and what did.

We repeat our problems until we have become refined enough to become the solution to them. The goal is to bring ourselves into greater levels of love and awareness and closer co-workership with God.

We obtain a 360° viewpoint on life by having seen it from all angles (gender, race, religion, ethnicity, and so on). [BTW, if God wanted to create a FEMALE Living ECK Master, God has the power to do so!] Reincarnation teaches that we are eternal Souls and the "bag of skin" we wear in any lifetime matters not!

The ultimate awareness is all that you do at every moment is a choice - is your choice. Once you accept total responsibility for who you are, for what you have done or will do, for all your choices, life straightens out.

You are able to see the perfection of your life and your unfoldment more clearly. You are able to become what you are and to see yourself as Soul. Once you do, you are able to become a fully realized co-worker with God.
