Short Description:
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a disorder where the colon
(large) bowel does not function properly, generating a constellation of
gastro-intestinal symptoms.
Causes:
When the dietary and lifestyle changes are made (below), the IBS is caused
by past life karma:
*
"Pear of Anguish" Karma:
Those who have IBS, in past lives, either
gave or received torture via the "Pear of Anguish" device. The "Pear of
Anguish" was device with sharp blades that could be extended or retracted
with the twist of a knob. The device would be inserted into a body cavity
(mouth, anus, vagina, etc) and then the razor-like cutting blades would extend
and slice into the defenseless, sensitive flesh, causing agonizing pain to
the torture victim.
*
"Drawing-Quartering" Karma:
Those who have IBS, in past lives,
either gave or received torture through drawing and quartering (considered
to be the worst possible punishment). The victim's torso would be opened
and their intestines would be "drawn" out and put into the fire causing
excruciating pain. Then their body would be dismembered into four "quarters"
in a manner that would prolong their suffering (rather than cause them to
die immediately).
*
"Inquisition Slit" Karma:
Those who have IBS, in past lives, either
gave or received torture through the "Inquisition Slit" up the anus.
Inquisitors gave the "Slit" to induce one person to give evidence against
another. For the "Inquisition Slit" was not immediately fatal: it usually
took individuals days or weeks to die from the resulting infection. If the
"Slit" person was taking too long to die, the slit was extended until they
finally did die from massive blood loss.
*
"Water Retention" Karma:
Those who have IBS, in past lives, either
gave or received torture through the "Water" torture. The outlet for urine
was tied or blocked off to prevent the victim from urinating while water or
other fluid was forced down their throat. This would cause the liquid to be
trapped in their stomachs causing progressively painful bloating. With no
way out, the fluid would accumulate until it caused the stomach to burst open
with excruciating pain.
Symptoms:
The IBS sufferer will experience the following constellation of symptoms:
*
Abdominal pain, such as cramping, bloating, or gas, is often experienced
during or after eating a meal.
*
Constant Diarrhea and/or Constipation, at any time, but most often during
or after eating a meal.
*
Nerves and muscles in the bowel can be extra sensitive and may react
painfully when the bowel stretches.
*
IBS pain usually subsides after the bowel is evacuated.
After Effects:
The pain and symptoms of IBS can helped by making the following lifestyle
changes.
*
Foods Aggravating IBS:
"Junk" food: Fried/fatty (French Fries), Dairy
products (Milk, Cheese, Ice Cream), Chocolate, Alcohol), Caffeinated Drinks
(Coffee/Tea), Carbonated Drinks (Soda).
*
Foods Calming IBS:
Foods full of fiber (whole grain Bread and whole
grain Cereal), Fruits (Apples, Peaches), Vegetables (Lima Beans, Kidney Beans,
Peas, Cabbage, Broccoli, Carrots), etc).
*
Portions:
Eat four to five small meals daily with fiber supplements
instead of less frequent, bigger meals.
*
Stress Management:
Learning how to reduce your stress through breathing,
meditation, exercise, hypnosis, anger management, and/or counseling will make
it easier to deal with the symptoms of IBS.
Advice:
The IBS will continue until the person looks back into their past lives,
connects with what happened to their body back then, and heals those issues.
Problems arising from torture - especially those which have been repeated
through many incarnations - can be difficult to heal but they can be healed
with time and knowledge. IBS exists to motivate the individual to heal it.
Until the individual heals the long standing unhealed past life karma, IBS
will continue to weaken the body until the individual takes active steps to
heal it.
