Short Description: Congential Erythropoietic Porphyria
Congenital Erythropoietic Porphyria (CEP) is a disease where sufferers must live in the dark or have their skin blister and burn from the ultra-violet rays in light.

Causes: CEP is the present life karmic balancing of past life actions. The primary causes of this syndrome, from the standpoint of karma and reincarnation are:

* Imprisonment Karma: In past lives, the CEP sufferer caused others to suffer imprisonment unjustly. The one thing that most prisons in past lives had in common was lack of light as windows only encouraged escape. The human energy field requires a certain amount of light to thrive (ex. those who have a higher than normal need for light will suffer from "Seasonal Affective Disorder" when light is low). So those with CEP are forced to live in the darkness to balance out that imprisonment karma and CEP ensures they will remain in darkness.

* Slave Karma: In past lives, the CEP sufferer enslaved others and literally kept them in the dark, often for sexual purposes. Although illegal today, in past lives, it was a common practice. If one person "bought" another as a chattel slave, it was only considered murder if the slave was killed. Otherwise, the master was free to treat their slave as they saw fit. The phrase "keeping someone in the dark" originated in the practice of masters keeping slaves locked up in dark rooms to control them. With CEP the former master must now live in darkness.

* Torture Karma: In past lives, the CEP sufferer practiced these Roman and Chinese interrogation techniques. These consisted of confining prisoners in solitary darkened cells where they could not sit down or stand up. This kept them from sleeping. After several days, the prisoners were thrown into full sunlight and had their eyes forced open. This torture made them willing to talk. Those who felt guilty about their part in past life torture will come into agreement with CEP to balance that light torture karma and to put it behind them for good.

* Euthanasia Karma: In past lives, the CEP sufferer practiced the form of euthanasia where the old people were blindfolded and left alone during the season of endless night (in Arctic climates). Many times, under the guise of performing euthanasia, people would leave underage family members or enemies to die alone in the dark. This is very unpleasant form of murder. Those who felt guilty about their part in past life torture will come into agreement with CEP to balance that abandonment-euthanasia karma and to put it behind them for good.
