"Dear Ellen:

Please forgive me for having taken so long to have written you. I simply could not find words sufficient to express all that you have done for me and the depth of my gratitude. I still have not, but as delay and procrastination are, apparently, not particularly good sources of inspiration, I have resolved to put it off no longer.

Let me begin, then, by thanking you for always doing your utmost to be there for me, and your generous offers of guidance and assistance should I require it. As you are no doubt well aware, the impetus for my past life sessions has frequently been a crisis in my present life, which has had the additional benefit of bringing up terrifying memories, images, and emotions of times of great difficulty in past lives.

You have always done your utmost to be there for me and to channel for me at your first opportunity. This simple courtesy alone has greatly reduced the anxiety and fear that I have undergone, and it has meant worlds to me. I can attest from prior personal experience that not everyone is so understanding and considerate. This is but one of the reasons I feel so fortunate for having found you.

Your empathy and compassion, your ability to see what others would not, and your appreciation for the ironic and absurd helped immeasurably in making what might have otherwise seemed unbearable ordeals and experiences which I look upon with fondness. And the effects! The deeper understanding of myself, what moves me and why, the reasons behind the seemingly inexplicable fears and feelings I was experiencing - these things alone would have made it worthwhile.

But the lessening of one's burden, the lightening of one's spirit, the release from unseen shackles and chains upon my heart and mind, not to mention my body - how truly wonderful it is! What joy you have given me! Through working with you, I have come so much closer to my life's calling, and my dreams that I feared would never be realized. Even so, as much as this is, the possibilities did not, have not, ended there. What I once would have thought absurd and impossible I now know is not only theoretically possible, but infinitely possible for me to do.

As you well know and understand, I, too, want to do my part in bringing hope to the hopeless. To bring the light and love of God to the seemingly unreachable. But if it is possible to go back in time, through you, with you, and bring such healing to my past lives, as well as my own present life - and I know this to be so, for I felt it and feel it still in my heart - then surely it is possible to reach others who even now are suffering as I suffered. And to help to heal them as I have been healed.

I have no doubt that God and His angels brought us together, not only to heal my past, and my present, but also to open the door to my future in a way that I do believe will be most pleasing to Him, and to me, to a degree that I had scarcely dreamed possible. And for that, as well as for everything else, I will always be grateful, and I will always have love in my heart for you.
